What Might I need to Install My Nature's Head

If you are using 110 volt house power, you will need our wall transformer. If using 12 volt, batteries and or solar, the toilet comes with the necessary parts.

The mushroom vent is an easy way to vent through the side or roof. The PVC vent is good for through the floor venting. You may already have an existing vent to connect to.

The PVC vent is a good way to vent through the wall or the floor on a raised cabin.

… for My boat installation?

For venting, you can use the mushroom vent for cabin side or roof. It can also be used over an old pump out fitting hole.

Thoughtfully designed, this Nature’s Head is meant to be simple to install as well as to use and maintain. Your Nature’s Head was intentionally designed to NOT be replaced after a couple years, like other items made around the world. The high quality construction with the least amount of parts is simplistic and perfectly suited to be installed and used by anyone. No masters degree required. From toddlers to seniors, this is a toilet to love because it’s so easy to operate.

Installing Your Nature’s Head

When you open your box of your Nature’s Head, go to your Installation Manual and User’s Guide. If you lose your guide, it can be downloaded to print by finding the link provided. Page 5 of the manual will show you step-by-step instructions on installing your unit with photos for viewing how the unit is mounted on the floor, venting requirements, and power connection.

Ensure adequate room for installation to ensure ease in turning the macerator handle and for the outtake hose connection from the unit, as well as at least 3 inches from the wall in order to remove the toilet seat off the stainless steel hinge. Keep in mind that the spider handle takes less room than the standard handle (see dimensions). If you have any questions, contact us, we’re here to help with all of your solutions.

Using your Nature’s Head

Before using your Nature’s, place two gallons of pre-moistened Sphagnum Peat Moss (plain, no manure or other mixes) or coconut fiber (coir) for the solid waste. Page 10 of your installation manual provides all the details of how to use this amazing toilet.

Also, go to the “Print and Post-How to Use Nature’s Head Waterless Composting Toilet Guide”. Print it out and post it in your bathroom to help all folks use this toilet properly. Or contact us and we’ll send you a laminated guide sheet. It gives you easy steps to follow for use and emptying the unit, with some easy reminders. You’ll see that this is a toilet to love since it’s so simple to use and maintain.
